fābula gallery is delighted to present the solo project ROSA SAKER by Studio Gert Wessels. This exhibition is a retrospective overview of the artist’s practice: a selection of functional pieces, each with a distinct conversation at play.
Gert Wessels searches for the limits of practicality and form. Working on the project ROSA SAKER for over five years, he adopts a unique, ironic viewpoint toward everyday objects. Using bold colours and challenging the flexibility of acrylic composite, he creates playful and disrupted, yet essential artefacts.
