Flower silkscreen | Flower printed curtains by fābula x Susanna Smailova
In her objects Susanna Smailova uses a botanical archive, which she collected over the years. Digital prints on the natural silk and chiffon outline fragility and ephemerality of all living things.
The series of objects presented in fābula gallery are screens and wall pieces created in 2018 –2020. Subtile colours in them are contrasting with light and shadows in drapery, their sculpture-like features and scale reminds of architectural facades.
Susanna Smailova is an architect. She lives and works in Frankfurt, Germany.
