fābula gallery is pleased to present the group project 0331c, Vilgeniy Melnikov and Gleb Glonti.

The time we live in is marked by avalanche-like flows of post-truth, waves of “cancellations” and a series of disasters that call into question the familiar foundations of the world. We are witnessing and participating in a deep crisis of stability, not only in public structures, but also in our own internal space. The symbolic dismantling of monuments is just one of many disturbing signs of destabilization and rethinking of the past. In this new reality, the feeling of confusion and uncertainty of being becomes a universal experience, forming new ways of perceiving and living modernity.

The question arises: is it possible to discover something truly solid and stable in a fluid, constantly changing environment? Where to look for support when familiar landmarks are blurred, and the very concept of stability seems illusory?

The “Immutable” project is an artistic search and reflection on the structures of existence that can maintain their stability through time. Turning to para-forms, ancient mythology, and the sacred image of the “source of life,” the artists attempt to discover some fundamental basis: ruins take on new forms, ancient images transform, and the voice, appearing and disappearing, demonstrates the impermanence of existence and at the same time retains its connection with the eternal.

“Immutable” is an invitation to contemplation, reflection and experience of time, myth and nature in their multi—layered interweaving. This is a space where everyone can try to find their foothold — unshakable in themselves and the world around them.
