fābula gallery is pleased to present the performance by the artist Я (Ya), which took place on December 19th at the Collector Gallery. “ЯSale” project has become an invitation to look inside ourselves and realize the power of choice that shapes our reality.

This performance is a reflection on how past experiences and other people’s expectations leave traces, becoming invisible barriers. Я asks the question: what happens if we let go of the excess? The phrases “I decide this” and “you decide this” that sounded during the action emphasized that responsibility for one’s life is an act of inner freedom that requires awareness and courage.

“We often carry imprints of the past within us, which imperceptibly determine our thoughts, actions, and even how we feel. This project is about how important it is to learn how to let go in order to find clarity, lightness and a place for new things,” Я said.
